    I have been to Hiro Sushi many times since meeting my bf. We always get takeout. So I can't comment on the service, but seriously, I'm really here to comment on the food!!

    Generally, take-out takes about 15-20 minutes from the time I call to when it's ready.

    We have ordered many things from the menu, the Assorted Sashimi is always good, although the ebi I received was a little sad. My favorite is the panda roll. Rolls are big and filling and I've enjoyed everything that I have ordered from their menu. Have to say that all of their special rolls are really special. Can't go wrong with any of them.

    Been to other sushi locations in Port Coquitlam and this is my favorite.

    This has been one of our go-to sushi places.  Fish has been fresh and portions generous. Service has always been lacking but generally the food made up for it. The last few visits I'm finding the quality going down a bit...fish not as fresh?. Not sure if there's new owners or what just not as good as usual. I won't give up on them yet but one more bad visit and we'll need to think twice. Our other go-to spot is Sushi California on North Road. It's superior to Hiro in all aspects but super busy and terrible parking. Hoping Hiro will be able to step it up next visit.

    You really need to retrain or get rid of the young lady that works at the front. She is ignorant and possesses zero customer service. Bad for business. I stopped going.

    Sat down and was the only person inside.  They barely acknowledged me, other than putting a menu and tea on the table. Waited 5 minutes to order and still no acknowledgement. Just got up and left.
    Need to find a new sushi place in PoCo.

    I have no idea how this place has such a high rating... almost everything about my order was shit. Gomae was runny & flavourless, miso soup cold, the rolls were falling apart, the agedashi tofu was soggy, and there were bones in the salmon sashimi... thoroughly disappointed.
